Interresting photo! As an old "Deckhand" in the merchant navy, I see right away that we here have a rather old vessel (a veteran?) because she was built with rivets holding the steel-plates together, a technic that was abandoned in the 1920-1930 when welding was implemented in shipsbuilding.
