Thanks for identifying the wood pecker. It is very uncommon to see wood peckers in our area. But judging by the number of holes in the bark of the tree, he's been at it for quite a while.
Thank you, Jim. My husband is an avid grower of Christmas cactus. At this time we have whites, reds, and salmon ones in bloom. I will try to post other images when they are at there peak.
