I really like the Classic Black and White Film feel to this image with your treatment, like a contemporary Walker Evans. The " windows on others lives" imparted by the window frames set against the fading signs really arrested my attention.

I like this “ slice of life” picture with the accompanying story. For me I prefer this type of traditional “ reportage” rather than dramatically grabbed “ street photography” as it is labelled these days.....your capture reminds me of the “ Picture Post” genre from the 1950’s. Thanks for sharing it.

Classic Monochrome treatment well handled, eschews any affected over stylisation. Maybe tonalities in localised areas could be fine tuned to good effect. Enjoyed this , thanks

Indulges the 18mm perspective so well with a superb orchestration of composition, colour and light .....all hinging on the distant offshore island. Memorable

Lovely to see Ilford Pan F image again ! You have done well in managing the contrast. Zooming in on image reminded me of Michelangelo Antonioni’s fin “ Blow Up” Thoroughly enjoy your images !

A wonderful drama captured here with rich contrasts of tone and colour reminiscent of a High Renaissance pairing.

An excellent capture in the Classic Mode of Jazz lighting, strong contrast, expressive facial expression and beautiful “ bokeh” rendered in the background...high ISO performance impressive does not comprise quality of rendering Memorable

You have captured the subtlety of the plumage so well whilst isolating from background effectively
