Thank you very much for your long and interresting explanation on the D750. I also treasure the articulating screen when on the tripod. This gives me time to study the composistion better, and it does really help with low-angle photography (Iam 69 now - so I know!) and bending down really is no longer an option.

This is so interresting and exotic to look at and study. The rocks look like "salt pillars" from another planet. It's the beautiful light that gives this look.
Have you considered to de-noise the sky and sea a bit?
Very good, Robert! 3 different layers of texture + the blue sky, perfectly exposed. The details in the foreground are impressive.
What happened? I had you down as "die-hard" Df-user and now you have switched to a D750 (me too!).

A terrific combination with the Nikon Df + Tamron 15-30mm, for all to see! The details in the foreground and the sharpness all the way back to the hills on the horizon is just super.

B.T.W.: Mister Aamodt, who clearly runs a Bakery & Store, must indeed have Norwegian ancestores with that particular name (common in Norway).
Reminds me of an old song back in the 60'is by Rodger Miller, called "King of the Road" where he sings "... Third Box Car Midnight Train - Destination Bangor, Maine"
Looks like his Box car has stopped dead on the track here ... sadly, Rodger Miller died in 1992
