Currently there are still a few working telephone booths in Toronto, and I got three of our grandchildren to pose in and around one of them to show interesting juxtapositions of the old versus the new. This is one of my favorites of the shots I took.
As part of my rehab. from my right hip replacement at the end of August, I've been walking two miles a day One day, while walking, I noticed a fossilized impression of a maple leaf in the concrete sidewalk, and when the leaves turned, drove back to the spot with my gear, arranged this composition and grabbed this shot
Taken a few years ago during a street festival here in downtown Toronto.
I noticed a couple standing in a Toronto Transit Commission bus shelter, trying to find their route on the transit map, and liking the story, grabbed this shot.

This was taken yesterday in Kensington Market, here in Toronto, and while I've been coming here since I was born (my Grandparents lived here for many years and it is where my mother and her siblings were born and raised) I have never seen anything like this in over forty years of shooting.
I was on my way to meet a photobud in the Market when I noticed a mother squatting over the edge of the sidewalk, holding her young daughter who was urinating on the sidewalk and road, while the father rummag
Taken in Detroit at one of the MUFI (Michigan Urban Farming Initiative) sites earlier this summer. I with a photobud who is documenting the State's program that encourages local groups to farm on vacant land within the city of Detroit.
We had just finished a tour of one site, and as I was to take a photo from the adjacent sidewalk a car pulled up and the driver jumped out, pulled out a photo-collage, posed on his car and asked me to take his photo. I'm sure he had no idea who we were or why we
