Not sure about the gold-ish colour, but the red streaks, the dark/light distribution and the composition really make this a great shot Ernesto! I've just been leafing through a compilation of the 100 best pictures of the 20.000 published in my newspaper in 2010, and this one would not have looked out of place at all.
