Thank you JT!
Well, first of all - you would not like it there. It's miles from the nearest town - no chance of getting any street-shots there, no ...!

It's out there in the Skerries (islands) an rather isolated. Just a handful og fishermen live there. In winter it gets very cold, the water in front of this house freezes over. A cold wind is usually blowing throughout this place.
Anyway, one could not afford house out there anyway - its bloody expensive!
But, as for the image - it's pure bliss!
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!

Hi, J Torralba!
Yes, this is HDR, 5 exposures with 0,7EV in between. If you look closely, you may notice some "ghosting" in the foliage on top of the big tree. Although it is dead calm, a slight wind breeze shifted some of the leaves there, in between exposures (the pain in the neck for HDR photographers!).

Its shot late in the evening of June the 7th of last year. As you might know, the month of June is the month with the shortest period (approx. 3 hours) of darkness in the night here in Norway, and the sun shines almost all of the night, giving photographers long hours of finding motives (but then again, we only have approx. 5-6 hours of daylight in the winter!). Inside the house, the lamplight is on, as you can see through the windows. Also, most winds die down in the evening, presenting a dead flat sea during night time.
Thank you for your comment!

Best regards from Norway!
