Thank you very much for the comment !! Regarding pp, there was no special pp. Shot in RAW, processed in NX2. I did bring out the black a little up. The intense steam did the natural desaturation I suppose. Akul

That is such a haunting image Akul; absolutely wonderful. Was there a lot of pp involved; did you desaturize loically f.i.? Cheers, Michiel

I think a combination of various aspects, the girl, the light, the camera, the lens and whatever to name a few :)

Those things that make us look are they boobs? Or is it the exquisite composition and the delicate handling of color? Or is it that someone elses girlfriend is always more interesting than the one complaining about your camera.

Yes, summer is definitely over. ( what a surprise !! ) Interestingly, it seems to be taking longer this year. Curious to see how long it will take. Akul

I should note that on this and the other "dreamy" flower images shot with Nikkor lenses all also used extension rings in addition to the wide open large aperture lenses cited. The non-Nikkor flowers are using Kowa f/1.1 lenses, either 55 or 77mm focal length, without rings. Not sure what the Kowa lenses are actually intended for, but whatever the use may have been it's not this!
