This image is just amazing. It took me a while what it was and realized it was probably crack on piece of ice? High ISO noise? is adding a very nice texture, adding more painterly = or graphite drawing kind of feel. Amazing.

Thanks! That's one of the reasons I like the Planar over sort of any other 50 mm lens (I've had a bunch). It isn't sharp wide open, but the colors are still there.

Thanks! The light was very warm (unfortunately), so I didn't really get the colors I'd like. But the lens handled it well:-)

This is a beautiful shot. Great composition and tonality. Water inside the boat is adding quite a depth. Makes me feel cold.

Regarding pp, there was no special pp. Shot in RAW, processed in NX2. I did bring out the black a little up. The intense steam did the natural desaturation I suppose.
