Torralba, thank you for taking time to view and comment on my work. This is Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.

I much prefer the color version to the B&W one you posted. Although it is in color, it looks more nostalgic than the B&W one. Almost like an old faded transparency.

Spectacular shot! The back lighting and vignetting really make it work.

Exciting motive and a solid composition, lovely light (Golden Hour?) and good timing of the wave slapping the rocks. I like the details on the rocks and the different textures there, both smooth and coarse. Interesting sky too. HDR? Best regards from Norway :o)

Spectacular work Ronny! Love the saturation and colors. It does not look unnaturally overdone. It looks real :)

Thank you qbert, I really appreciate your kind words. He was aggressively protecting his territory, and chasing away the other males that venture near.

Very nice, Chookia. Lots of good contrasts and nice colors. Very nice "lead-in" of the earth-dam, leading from the corner, out to the "island" with palm-trees. I have also seen this picture on National Geographic today. Best regards!

Such a beautiful subject! The left and right sides tell different life stories, and the light captures them both equally well. Thank you for posting this great photograph!
