Hey Michiel, Thanks for your comments. It's always nice to get feed back from other photographers, as I'm still learning. Looking back on it, I think I got caught up in B&W mode at that time. I was looking at a lot of B&W shots, maybe I forced this one. I'm an amateur photographer and I still have a lot to learn. Could you explain the concept a bit? Thanks again for your comment. Corey

Focusing a 300mm on an APS-c sensor camera is difficult at best, in a shot like this pinpoint sharpness (preferably at the point of the cigar, when the man is drawing on it so you see the the burning) is essential, and I'm afraid yoy just missed it, which ruined the shot for me. Great idea, execution less than great. Does the D3100 allow one-field focusing and shifting that field or holding it while recomposing? Sorry for the criticsim; it's well-meant. Michiel

Yes, sure, i added grain in LR. I was using a 20mm as i was lying on the floor, maybe 5 feet away from her at most, and this makes for this never-ending-legs effect, which i am crazy for.

Did you add texture to create the film look to the image? Love the tonal range and the legs that seem to go on forever....

Great candid, Soren. The thumbnail caught my eye and I was not disappointed in the full image. Excellent street capture!!!

I have never understood why the 18-200mm lens gets poor reviews. As this image shows, if handled properly it can capture some awesome images. Love what you got here and especially the b&w conversion.
