Thank you, torralba for your kind comment to this image. Part of the Expression in this image is due to the fact that all houses in this part of town (Gamlebyen = Old Fredrikstad) is under historic preservation and are not allowed to have modern float-glass in their windows. Only oldfashioned rolled glass is allowed, which - with all its small imperfections - reflect sunlight in a special and more effective manner.
Best regards from Norway!

Thank you. The tripod was quite low, and, I was thinking of depth-of-field. The original image was much higher in quality, but I had to reduce its size considerably.

Man! The Brand-New D5? How does it feel? And a totally unknown (to me!) Zeiss-lens to go with it...you are one lucky guy! get to try all the latest stuff.
Congrats, Jorge.

Walter, the D5 is big and heavy. I still can't decide if its for me or not. The Zeiss glass is about as heavy as the camera :) Today I purchased an inexpensive 50mm 1.8 that weighs as much as a bottle cap and I am very impressed.

Thank you. Notice there is a wire running up the tree? I went around the tree but none of the other sides looked right at the top. Glad you liked this.

Thank you. In Singapore, trees are planned, mostly used to line roads. They tend to be linear. A "forest" may be found in parks. Not the huge ones you see in Europe; just a few. So, I have to find an angle to make it look more like, well, a "forest". Make do.

This is an "unnatural" nature shot. I am glad you liked it. The little climb into the forest has been heavily used. There is a construction site nearby, with at least 60 foreign workers. Recently the police discovered a prostitution den in the forest. Might explain the foot-path's heavy usage.

Thank you. Someone's high hope for this side-street has not materialised in business, but his visions in design have not been wasted. This scene looks good in B&W, but I like its muted colours.

I am a new Nikon user. The alley was very dim (before 6am), yet the D750 seems to retain good tone without excessive grain, even in high ISO. Thank you.

I had my D750 ready when i Saw the split girl. The man was with a young girl (Notice the shooter). When she went off to toilet, I had my chance. The 750 is good in this.
