Well, if you mean to add (artificial) analogue film grain in Photoshop - to make it look like old times black and white film, I am not so keen on it. I remember well the old days (started out with my Minolta SRT 101 bought in Japan in 1967) and used to shoot a lot of B&W (Kodak Tri-X with 400 ASA!!), but now I am glad for the digital age. More interesting, faster, cheaper and more adaptable for all kinds of applications. I see your question in relations of all your own B&W-photos here on NikonImages, I presume are scanned? But I thank you for your kind comment, Ulysses! Greetings from Norway, from an Ex-Tirolean, immigrated to Norway (met my Norwegian wife in Germany in 1969) when I was 20, and living here for the past 44 years! :o)

Very nice motive and solid composition. I would, however, clone off the halve blue sign on the left side. Best regards from Norway, Walter

Lovely picture of a clean, fresh and green landscape. I think this color rendition of the same scene / motive as you have in B&W is better and more pleasing to look at, because the sharpening is not so overdone. Best regards from Norway, Walter
