Thank you for your kind comment, HYS. This was not a planned shot at all, just something I came across on my photo-tour in the old town-district. This goat just "begged" to bet taken a picture of, it posed so nicely - it probably thought I was going to feed it...\n\n\n
I understand You precisely. I love this kind of looking to the world around us.

IMO. It is not a question if one likes futuristic buildings, I don't neither (prefer old and derelict houses), but a question of creating an interesting picture with this kind of Wideangle effect - which is why I shot this image here - and the interesting light. But thanks all the same, Jorge - I appreciate your comment.
Best regards,
Walter

Thank you, ulysses / Herbert - for the 'Like' to my night image. What you see here are ramparts / Festungswall and the moat / Burggraben that surrounds the old town of Fredrikstad (founded 1656) as protection and fortification (Schutz und Abwehr) against the Swedes in the Nordic war from 1700 – 1721 between Denmark-Noway, Sachsen–Poland, Russia, Preussen and Hannover on the one side and Swedens army under Karl 12. / Charles 12th (the war-king of Sweden) on the other side.
I like the old fortification towers at the entrance of the small boat harbour, and the old town, right next to it. There is also a classic wooden sailboat on the nearest pier, that has cought my eye!
J'aime les vieilles tours de fortification à l'entrée du petit port de plaisance, et la vieille ville, juste à côté. Il y a aussi un voilier en bois classique sur le quai le plus proche, qui a attiré mon attention!
